Tenuta stands for hold and resilience. The name describes the ability to endure. The deep black onyx forms the center of this Earcuffs. Since ancient times, it has been valued as a stone of protection and inner strength. The matte silver setting surrounds the gemstone. Every unevenness, every tension has been deliberately left visible, making the piece of jewelry come alive. Tenuta is a Capolavori unique piece: shape, gemstone, and pattern occur exactly like this only once.

HANDLING & FIT
A fine arc behind the ear connects the upper ring with the gemstone and uses the natural shape of your ear shell for perfect hold. We have been working with this technique for over 27 years and can assure you: It holds! Once individually adjusted, the Earcuff sits comfortably and securely – all day long, without slipping.
MATERIAL
Sterling silver: Capolavori one-of-a-kind pieces are crafted by Nella using a special tin-silver soldering technique. The setting is made of 925 sterling silver. Sterling silver is a lightweight precious metal with a distinctive shine, consisting of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. Light oxidation is normal, but it can be easily removed with gentle polishing.
Gold vermeil: Our gold vermeil is not ordinary gold plating. Pieces made of solid sterling silver are coated with an especially thick layer of 18-karat gold. With proper care, the shine will last for many years.
