At Nella & Sina, we place great importance on selecting high-quality materials and on precise craftsmanship. Our jewelry is made entirely in Germany. From the initial design to the final finishing, we work with specialized partner workshops whose craftsmanship and experience are reflected in every detail. Our aim: timeless jewelry with a clear design language, meticulous craftsmanship, and high quality.

925 STERLING SILVER
We work with 925 sterling silver, a precious metal valued for its beauty and durability. It consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper, giving it stability and resilience. The 925 hallmark on many of our pieces confirms the high level of purity. With regular care, its natural shine is maintained, and frequent wear can even help prevent oxidation.
GOLD VERMEIL
Our gold vermeil jewelry is made from 925 sterling silver and finished with an especially thick layer of 24k gold. To achieve the sought-after cool gold tone, an 18k top layer is applied as the final step. This high-quality gold plating is more durable than conventional coatings and ideal for everyday wear.
For those who prefer a more intense yellow gold tone, we currently also offer a 24k custom finish at no extra charge. Simply specify this as an order note in your shopping cart.
JANS ENAMEL
With Jan’s Enamel, our jewelry collection welcomes another member of the family: Jan Schäfer, Sina’s father, designs and handcrafts every piece of jewelry in his own collection. In Jan’s hands, Enamel becomes small, wearable works of art. Subtle color gradients and vibrant textures define the surfaces, inviting you to discover the pieces up close.
GEMSTONES & PEARLS
Our gemstones and pearls are hand-selected. Between 2000 and 2010, Nella assembled our current stock at major mineral and pearl fairs in Germany, always with a discerning eye for quality, color, and shape. Often, it was a stone’s distinctive shape that sparked an idea in her of what it could later look like as a piece of jewelry. Today, we continue working with these stocks and selectively supplement them with gemstones and pearls chosen for our designs.
Unique pieces
We craft our one-of-a-kind pieces using a special tin-silver soldering technique. We shape 925 sterling silver wire by hand and connect the individual elements with lead- and nickel-free tin. The resulting flowing transitions define the shape and appearance of each piece of jewelry.
CRYSTALS
For our jewelry pieces, we also use cubic zirconia. These synthetically produced gemstones consist of crystalline zirconium dioxide. Their faceted cut enhances the incoming light and creates their characteristic sparkle.
